A design-driven initiative executed under tight deadlines, this project centered on delivering a fully customized digital experience for Chemonics International.
Leveraging a proprietary CMS developed by 64Robots, I focused on adapting and refining its components to align precisely with the client’s communication strategy and organizational goals.
The result was a tailored system that balanced design integrity with functionality, ensuring an effective and scalable solution within the constraints of the timeline.
As the sole designer and project lead, I drove the project from conception to delivery, overseeing both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
My responsibilities encompassed defining the project timeline, managing tasks, planning information architecture, wireframing, and guiding the client through key milestones.
I delivered high-fidelity designs and ensured a smooth handoff to development, maintaining continuous communication with engineers to minimize mismatches with the existing system and uphold design consistency—all while adhering strictly to the established schedule.
Establishing a well-structured design system—with clearly defined components, variables, and variants—was essential to accelerating development and streamlining the design process.
I prioritized clarity and consistency to reduce implementation time and ensure scalability. Detailed documentation of component states, interactions, and edge cases was paired with a strong emphasis on accessibility standards, which played a critical role in delivering an inclusive and robust user experience.
Throughout the project, I engaged in close collaboration with the client’s design team to ensure visual and strategic consistency across all communication channels. Regular decision-making sessions fostered a dynamic feedback loop, allowing us to align on key design directions and refine the product's look and feel collaboratively.
This iterative, co-creative process not only elevated the final outcome but also enriched the overall experience for all stakeholders involved.
